Founded in 2000, Mountain Gourd Creations was born from Constance's artist's heart and entrepreneurial spirit. Mountain Gourd Creations seeks to offer unique, handmade works of art. The vision is inspired by blending mediums such as carving, etching, fracking, drawing and painting. This blend evokes a style that feels earthy, organic and wholly authentic. MEET CONSTANCE EDLER-BRADFORD
The artist behind Mountain Gourd Creations is proudly known locally as the Gourd Lady. Constance has been creating award winning art with gourds since 2000. She was first introduced to gourds through a twist of fate by her future husband, Reed. While showing her his gourd garden she was instantly intrigued with the many shapes and textures displayed by the plants. Constance began to see art projects in each gourd she looked at; it was love at first sight. Constance enjoys creating one-of-a-kind pieces as well as traveling to festivals and teaching workshops.
